Cutix Plc 2025 Financial Year Summary: Key Metrics and Insights

Cutix Plc delivered strong growth in its 2025 financial year ending April 30, with total revenue climbing 29.52% to N15.7 billion. The cables and wires segment dominated, generating N11.8 billion, supplemented by N3.8 billion from armored cables and minor contributions from other lines. Despite this, escalating costs pressured margins: cost of sales jumped 38.39% to N12.5 billion, yielding a modest 3.63% rise in gross profit to N3.2 billion.


Administrative expenses ballooned 39.36% to N1.4 billion, eroding operating profit by 15.24% to N1.5 billion. Finance costs rose 28.63% to N440.2 million, but pre-tax profit held steady with a negligible 0.60% decline to N1.6 billion. On the balance sheet, total assets grew 19.25% to N8.6 billion, signaling expansion, though retained earnings plummeted 64.27% to N730.2 million. Share performance was upbeat, closing at N4.10 on July 25, 2025, with a 78.3% year-to-date increase.
