Aradel Holdings Plc posted a pretax profit of ₦124.1 billion in Q2 2025, marking a slight 1.1% increase over ₦122.7 billion from Q2 2024. The company generated total revenue of ₦168.2 billion for the quarter, a modest 0.63% year-on-year increase. Crude oil sales contributed significantly to H1 2025 revenue at ₦232.7 billion, representing 63.2% of total income, while refined products and gas sales brought in ₦116.4 billion and ₦18.8 billion, respectively. The cost of sales surged 32.2% to ₦90.3 billion, leading to a 21.2% drop in gross profit to ₦77.8 billion. Operating profit declined sharply by 52% to ₦55 billion, impacted by a 149.7% rise in general and administrative expenses, which totaled ₦30.7 billion. Finance income grew substantially by 207% to ₦8.3 billion, while finance costs were ₦5.6 billion. Reduced tax expenses, down 70.4% to ₦11.9 billion, helped lift net profit after tax by 36.1% to ₦112.1 billion. Total assets increased 3.5% year-on-year to ₦1.8 trillion.
